I think if you are an HTC fan then you may just enjoy the M9 but if you are coming from Samsung, LG or even Apple or Windows Phone this may not impress you enough.

The camera when used with stock settings is at best a 6/10 but if you google M9 manual camera settings and find the great article on android central or xda about making adjustments manually then the camera is easily 8/10 Audio quality is once again amazing. I have found that Sense 7 is buttery smooth to go with the great looking UI and it looks great with the beautiful build quality. I have noticed that it does get warm with heavy usage but nothing serious. The hardware is excellent for the great design of the phone. The M9 feels great in the hand with just the right size screen and perfect resolution for most if not all viewing needs. I have had one of the first androids on a CDMA network with the Hero and that spawned the love I have for HTC.

I have had my fair share of HTC devices and even though this is just a small update to the M8 it is still an amazing phone. The One M9 is equipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and HTC Sense 7.0 UI. Available color options include Gunmetal Gray, Gold/Pink, Amber Gold and Silver/Rose Gold. It also comes with front-facing BoomSound speakers complete with Dolby Surround Sound. Thanks to its 2840 mAh battery, the phone can last up to 25 hours of talk time and 391 hours in standby mode. Compared to the previous model, the One M9 comes with a 20.7MP rear-facing sensor with HD camera and a secondary front-facing 4MP UltraPixel camera. The phone’s internal storage capacity is at 32GB with an option to expand it by up to 128GB using a microSD card.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip clocked at 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. The phone has a 5-inch Super LCD3 touchscreen display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Compared to the previous model, the One M9 is available with an all-metal unibody that gives it a premium look and feel. This includes the gorgeous design that made a huge mark on its users. Following its predecessor, the One M9 comes with the much-loved specs available from the M8. Hopefully the M10 or whatever replaces the M9 can correct the issues (mainly the camera) and turn things around for HTC.There is much to love about the new HTC One M9. It is clear HTC went with only an iterative design change from the M8, which did not help their sales since they failed to fix the main faults of the M8. Overall I am happy with this phone, although I would have been just has happy sticking with my old M8. The ugly bezel is still there, albeit it's reduced a bit. And while the shape of the phone has changed slightly to make the grip better, the sharp edges on the front are uncomfortable against your face while on a call. The camera is still mediocre even though they went from a 4mp sensor to a 20mp sensor.

However, many of the faults from the M8 carried over as well. Some of that is good - for example, the speakers sound the same, the screen is the same, the body is still aluminum, the phone still looks great, and it's still a very speedy phone. This is partly due to the fact that not much has actually changed. The HTC One M9 reminds me of the HTC One M8 in many ways. Detailed ratings Good flagship phone, but there are better
